This is an interesting article initiated by Bob Palais (Math at Utah) in 2001, pointing out that "π" is actually not a proper choice for the mathematical circle constant.
He believes that instead of π, mathematicians should have used 2π during the evolution of the Mathematics.

Starting with the easy problem, I‌ was constructing a tree structure to find the common ancestor, which lead to a messy code that finally failed the system test. Meanwhile, I got flabbergasted by the elegant solution from tomek:
